I am the artist recruiter for an on-line store which sells art on-line for use by people who make signature tags (you may view some examples here http://s574.photobucket.com/albums/ss188/tonyasacct/Creative%20Misfits/). The Tube is a clip art of sorts... we take our artists works and extract the main subject from the background... creating the "tube". The art that is used can be old art that you have long sold, or newly created art, as long as you have maintained the rights to it.
Each tag is in essence a mini advertisement for the artist used as all stores (like ours) require the artists copyright information to be used at all times with the art. Customers do not have the right to resale anything they make... it is just a hobby... and it has got many people doing it.
If you'd be interested in making some extra money (we offer 80% commission - the highest of any tube stores) with your artwork please contact me and I will send you the contract and more information.
